Maybe?
Tsk... It seems even my apartment complex won't be coming out of recent riots unscathed. Nothing but protests against nonhumans all night long, with broken windows and graffiti by morning. It seems as though humanity has decided to exert their dominion over the world of beasts once more.
What is it that drives their fear? Enemies that walk disguised among them? Or perhaps... that those who were once subjugated will take up the yolk of power instead.
Those without power are nothing. So, where does that leave mankind?
...Heh. Well, it seems like I have some time to kill. Don't mind me - it's been quite a bore waiting for the building manager.

The words you spout sound like those a tyrant would make. Or those no better than the ones you claim are rioting in town.

And you prove my point exactly: tyranny is a perfect example of power being taken away from the masses. How do you think those under its rule live? Controlled by their fear, they are either indoctrinated by the system, or killed. There are precious few with the potential to break free of this cycle.
Born simply to be a slave to fate, destined to die forgotten, with no real choices of your own... to give meaning to such a life is to be blinded by sentimentality.

[And he doesn't like it.]
You speak so low of those whom tyrants wish to control and you claim you know so much about how people react when they are threatened.
People would revolt, they strive for freedom. As they should have the right to.
In this case, both humans and non humans have this right.

I do know - more than your mind could possibly comprehend. I've studied human behaviour for quite some time. The probability distribution for these revolution varies - and many times the replacement is no better than what the people once fought against.
But I do agree. Mankind should have the right to determine its own future. I can give Nonhumankind no less. The end result might not be quite so pretty as what you imagine, however - especially if the two clash.

You lack faith. There would be those who fight for unison. Peace had fallen onto this land regarding mankind and nonhumankind before.
It will just have to be fought for so once more.

Well, let me know how that goes. Contrary to how I must sound, I do look forward to seeing humanity surpass my expectations. But frankly, faith is something I want nothing to do with at all.

Nay, I am just someone who helps fight for the better cause alongside others. Aiding them if they wish.
[Huh.]
Trust in me you might be surprised in what you may see. Actions speak better than words.

[There, you happy now.]

Much better. You can call me Naoya.
