Voice Testing for a little Vampire

[Well, There is a little girl with large iron and crystal wings hiding under a tree. She crawls over to the edge on the shadow it casts and sticks her hand out. She holds it there for a moment before yelping and quickly darting back to the trunk of the tree as if hurt.

She looks distressed and is starting to whine a little bit. Do you go and see what is wrong with her?]

[Marisa often loved to fly on her broom around the campus. It was fun! (It also scared the everloving crap out of a lot of people. That was fun too!) However, a certain familiar sight made her stop. Namely, large crystal wings. Oh boy. She knows who those belong to, even if it could be someone she's never met before. She might as well check up on her.

She hops off her broom and walks over to the girl.]

[She's sitting there, pulling her knees to her chest. She's still whining a bit before..Wait..Was that who she thought it was? She lets go of her legs and sits up on her knees and peers at the figure.

After a moment, her face lights up and her wings flare out in her excitement! At least she hasn't tried to destroy anything yet.]

Marisa, Marisa! Where are we?

[She crawls closer to the edge of the shadow cast by the tree again. Someone forgot about the pain]

Don't come out into th' sun, Flan, it's gonna hurt you.

We're at a place called Smash Academy... and I don't have any idea where it is. It's definitely not in Gensokyo, though, ze.

[She stops near the edge and scowls at the light. There is a moment where she is quiet, thinking things over..or maybe even thinking about other things that would likely cause problems. But she speaks up again, waiting in the shadow for Marisa to get close enough to hug.]

So...we are not home? Then how did we get here?

[And then the fact hits her hard. Cue her panicking a bit, complete with wide eyes, some tears and fearful whining.]

But..Where is Sister and everyone? Won't they be mad?

[galacticsteak]

A-are you okay?

[Chie has come from the other side of the tree, to be surprised by this back and forth show. I've heard of shut-ins, but this is crazy!]

It burns! Why does it burn?

[She's whining a bit and those wing move closer to her. She then stops and looks up, surprised to see her there. She's just staring as if she's never seen another person before.]

...Who are you?

[galacticsteak]

Wha? Oh, me? My name's Chie. [She offered her hand to shake, though was still far enough out to be entirely in the sun.] But that doesn't answer my question... [She adds, under her breath] directly at least.

[She hesitates a bit, staring at her hand in the sunlight.]

But..the light...It burns. It hurts. Why does it not hurt you?

[She reaches out, staying within the shade and stops. She wants to understand and shake the offered hand but..the pain...]

[Cautiously, Chie reaches in and shakes her hand.] Because the sun isn't supposed to hu-

[Cutting herself off, she jumps backwards, away from the child like girl.] W-w-wait. Hold on. What are you? Are you a vampire? It's vampires that can't go in the sun, right? Or was that mummies? Ohmygod, are you a mummy?

[Flandre just stares, looking both startled and confused. She whines softly, pulling her hand back to her chest and her wings flatten a bit against her back, making her look just like a small child once more.]

I'm Vampire, Just like my sister. What's a Mummy?

[She's just curious and not hungry at all, Just confused and starting to get a bit annoyed.]

[Chie steps back, raising her fists to a defensive pose.] A..a vampire... A real vampire... [Her voice quivers.] But you're so cute, how can you be a monster?

[prismaticdestruction]

[The look on her face falls so quickly, it's hard to say what all reactions she had. But she looks to the ground and pulls her knees to her chest and the wings wrap around her once more]

...I'm not a monster

She's so... cute.

"I thought all vampires were old and creepy monsters, like Dracula." Chie sat on the ground, still in the sun, but near the edge, can't be too careful. "But you're a vampire? A cute kid vampire?"

[There is a simple nod and she won't look up right away. Being called that is a bit of a sensitive spot for her so she isn't really up to saying much at this point. But she does smile with her teeth exposed, showing off her fangs..She's not trying to look threatening!]

"They're... they're kind of cute. Like a little cat or something." She leaned in a little closer to get a better look. "It must be hard. So many people must think..."
