[The last thing Makoto Naegi expected was to wake up somewhere with no memory of how he arrived. Again. The first time had been at Hope's Peak Academy, and led to the worst time of his entire short life. But this time was with purpose.
His former classmates... Alive? Could it have been true? If it was, he had to know. He held on to that shred of hope, however small, that it was. After all, hope was the only thing he was really good at.

But besides the three of us, my brother - [NOT EVEN HIDING THE RELIEF HE FEELS TO SAY IT] - Asahina, Hagakure, Yamada, Togami, and Alter Ego are all here, alive and well! Ludenberg and Oogami were also present at one point, just as you used to be!

So they were all here too... [Four of those were names he wasn't surprised about. Sakura being alive was good. Celes... He had mixed feelings about her, after what she had done to Ishimaru and Yamada. But he pushed those thoughts aside. She was alive too. He'd have to come to grips with what she had done later.] That's a relief.
