Not all bunny girls are made the same

Hello Smash Academy, there seems to be a Bunny girl in your vicinity, and even though she looks calm and collected, it is clear that she is lost. Anyone care to help out Shara? She does seem like the serious type, at first glance anyways.

"Where in Ivalice am I? Am I even IN Ivalice anymore...? Is this another one of Mewt's tricks..."

Be careful though, the weapons she's carrying don't seem like toys!

A werewolf?! Here? Shara had instinctively notched an arrow in her heavenly bow and taken a leap back but did not aim, not yet anyways. Her eyes narrowed and she took a moment to study the large creature.

It spoke, and it didn't seem hostile, not yet, maybe she could ask it more about this location. "Final destination city... I've never heard of such a place before. Tell me, where are we in terms to Ivalice?"

"Before I answer any questions, would you maybe like to holster the weapon? Not that I'm scared of a bow and arrow, mind - it just tends to make void the term 'polite conversation' when one party looks like they're expecting to skewer the other."

"I meant no harm," Or else he'd be riddled with arrows in the time it took him to complete the first part of his sentence, "I was just, caught off-guard. Your kind.. they're not the friendliest creatures where I come from you see."

Shara then took the arrow and placed it back in her quiver, and then lowering her bow in a non-threatening fashion before turning back to look at the werewolf. "My apologies."

"So far as I'm aware, we're not the friendliest creatures where anyone comes from. But I've no desire to hurt you."

He took a step closer.

"As for Ivalice... never heard of it. Final destination is a nexus of worlds and periods of time so, there's every possibility you've come here and can go back the way you came to find your home."

"I see," Maybe it was the same kind of magic that brought Ritz and the others to their world and back. This was proving to be interesting in it's own way.

"So are there people from many other worlds in this 'city'?" she asked curiously.

"Yeah, they are." Jon replied. "There's folk from all sorts of worlds. Some fairly plain, some like nothing I've ever heard of. For example, I can't say I've ever seen a Rabbit that looks quite like you before and I daresay not many folk have around here."

"A rabbit?" So there were no other Viera here... Shara narrowed her eyes in thought before turning to face the werewolf, "I'm a Viera, my name is Shara." she said with a small bow of her head.

"So I take it you are not a native to this place either?"

"A Viera....? Never heard of it. And no. I'm from England, originally. Which, chances are, you've never heard of either. Though apparently you know what a Werewolf is?"

Shara was not surprised he didn't know what her kin was, but England didn't sound familiar either. She looked back and nodded, "There's creatures like you back home, but they're feral and are usually found in swamps and bogs. They're vicious and bloodthirsty and unreasonable, very dangerous to most adventurers."

Most adventurers not like her of course.

"Do they switch between this form and a more human one? Or are they like this all the time? That is... assuming you even HAVE Humans in your world."

A world without humans? No. That probably wasn't possible. Too good to be true.

"A different form?" she asked curiously, "Not that I know of, no. I've only seen them like that." Not that she really had much of a chance to ask them to kindly stop what they were doing when she had to put them down quickly.

"But we do have humes in our world. They're rather plentiful." And not all of them were bad actually.

"It's possible - if they're true werewolves - that they can change. Like this."

Woosh - fur begone.

"....in which case you may find them easier to reason with when they're less hairy. I was once the same. It took many years of discipline to gain control of my wolf form. As for having HUmans in your world.... how's that working out for you, then? They treat you alright?"

Shara took a step back when he transformed, looking him over with a studying gaze before nodding. "Impressive... I do think that things would have been easier if they could control themselves as such."

She paused and looked away in thought for a few moments. "They're decent, just like most other races. Curious and ingenious creatures with lots of potential. Most are pleasant enough yes."

Especially those she had met and befriended.

"Well, if what they're doing is working for them, then I wouldn't expect an improvemnt." It had taken a lot for him to make the change, after all.

"Then the humans of your world are, in general, a more tolerant lot. My experiences with them are less than wonderful on the whole though those here seem to be more accepting of different species than most I've met."

"Are there many other species in this world?" Shara asked, she had heard that there weren't many other races in Ritz's world, not sentient anyways, and she was always curious about how other worlds with different races would be like.

Would there be others like her?

"Well, there's Humans and they seem to be a majority. There's Hedgehogs, various birds, people with wings, and that's not even getting into Pokemon - Six hundred or so species of those. Cats.... more than I can even think of, to be frank."

"More than six hundred?!" Shara said with a gasp, not realizing she sounded very surprised. After a moment, she regained her composure but still could quite grasp the reality of such a large number of species, and that was just these pokemon?

She cleared her throat once she had gone through her surprise and nodded, "I see... this is... All so different."

"It can take some getting used to. And to be honest, you're bound to attract your share of stares. As I said, there's nought like you in the city I've seen."

Shara wasn't really the shy type, but being the center of attention temporarily wasn't exactly something she wanted or was used to, all thigs considered, her heritage and blessing aside, she was a Viera, proud and dedicated, just like her kin.

"I see. I'll make sure to keep that in mind while traversing this place. Thank you."

"Most welcome. If you're going to the academy, the big double doors are going to be your first stop. Look for the giant hand with the glasses and avoid the one with the clown nose as if it had the Rabbit Flu."

Jon, you're so full of good advice.

"Giant... hand?" He surely didn't mean it literally did he?

"Yes."

Don't bother elaborating or anything, will you, Jon.

Shara stared as if the concept was ridiculous, she'd heard of attacks involving the manifestation of giant hands to attack, but a hand with glasses and a hand with... did he say a clown nose?

"I... could you, maybe explain a little?"

"Yes. Take an arm, cut off everything from the wrist up and throw it out. Cover the remainder in a white glove. Increase in size until it's approximately twelve feet across. Add glasses or a clown nose, whichever is your prefference, and there you have our Headmaster and Assistant Headmaster respectively."

How's that?

That... did not make things any better, but Shara could at least get the picture, as displeasing as it might have been.

"This place being different was an understatement it seems."

Shara shakes her head before nodding once more towards the person she had just met, "I thank you for all the info you've given."

Now what exactly to do with said information.

"You've no need to thank me. It cost me nought but time, after all."

"Nevertheless, I appreciate your time." Shara nods and turned to leave before giving one more glance over her shoulder.

This place was odd, but interesting, she wondered what other things she could discover in this land.

Jon turned around too, and started walking.

"If you decide to stick around, look me up, Bunny. Cheers."

Shara stopped and looked over her shoulder momentarily, "It's Shara, and I might just."

"Alright then, Shara. I'm Jon. Jon Talbain."

With a nod Shara acknowledged him, "Jon Talbain then, pleasure." she said before turning back to head on to continue exploring the place.
