[Well, would you look at that!

In one of the hallways, there's a little robot that's tending to some sort of spill on the ground. Looks like he's using a toothbrush to scrub the stain away. Where did he even get that toothbrush anyway? Did someone leave it on the ground somewhere? Well, he's sure no one would mind if he's using it. After all, it's for a good cause!

He may be busy right now, but that doesn't mean he's not approachable! He'll still lend an ear if you want to talk to him.]

[Hello, little one! There is another robot rolling around, getting himself acquainted with the school, as you work. He stops short of the spill, making some questioning birky noises.]

What are you doing bzzrt?

[Oh! Another robot! This little robot can't speak for himself, but he can try to gesture what he's doing.

He twirls around the toothbrush in his little robotic hands and afterwards taps the stain on the floor with one end of the brush. To drive his point even further, he continues scrubbing at the stain until it's completely gone. Feeling accomplished, the little robot nods his head and turns towards the other robot. Hopefully he got the picture?]

Oh! [He did! He throws his hands in the air] Good job!!

[Zrrpt zzrpt] You are very small and unlike any robot I've seen before.

[Well, that's true. Chibi-Robo is a teeny tiny robot! The top of his head flips out and a small sign pops out from inside of his head!]

[...that's not a very specific sign, but okay! The point is that Chibi-Robo agrees with you. The tiny robot starts to look up at the larger robot in awe. He's never seen a robot like this one either! Is he made out of the same material? Out of curiousity, he knocks twice on the larger robot's body.]

Fascinating zwhoop!

[Whoa there. Gear waves his hands, kind of understanding the unspoken question.]

I am LD-301G, built by the humans of Lanaryu phweep zrt. The LD-301 series is built of metals with the capabilities for mining. That's what we do zzt. We mine.

[He looks pleased/rather proud of himself too.]

[So, he's a mining robot! Chibi-Robo has never seen or even heard of such a thing! Unless Citrusoft is developing a new kind of mining robot too, which isn't that far-fetched of an idea... In any case, he wonders what sort of things LD-301G mines!

He tilts his head, while still looking expectantly at Gear.]

[CHEEBO. Cheebo she missed you in her life.]

Chibi-Robo!

[It looks like this person already knows his name! The top of the robot's head flips down and reveals a sign for confirmation.]

[Chibi-Robo, at your service, ma'am!]

((Aaaah I probably should have said this in the original post, but this is a clean slate Chibi-Robo! I'm very sorry!))

[She is indeed, mistaking him for one she already knows, and crouches down on her haunches to his level.]

What are you doing back here?

((That is totally a-okay with me.))

[What is he doing back here? This is the first day he's been here! He's not exactly sure what she's talking about...

He responds to her question by tilting his head slightly, confused.]

[A head tilt? He seemed to not know what she was talking about. Hn... then it could have been another one. It wouldn't of been the first time she came across this.]

Then you must be new... is that right?

[Correct! Chibi-Robo flips his lid off and the sign reappears.]

[Looks like a correct guess for her. She offers a tiny, albeit sincere smile to the little robot. Admittedly, she has a soft spot for things of such a small (and cute) stature.]

Welcome to Smash Academy. You're going to have your hands full here. Have you met anyone else yet?

[And she's trying to be mindful to ask mostly "yes" or "no" questions.]

[Oh, this guy is kind of... weird. It kinda reminded him of when Yomiel took on that awfully mechanical form, but in a way larger size.

Hm. Oh well. Maybe he can lend a hand. He cleans the floor like a cat does best: by licking it.]

[It doesn't take too long for Chibi-Robo to notice Sissel helping out. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, this is one big hallway for one little robot to clean up all by himself! He needs all of the help he could get!

For a moment, he stares up at Sissel before returning back to work scrubbing the stains on the floor.]

[Man this guy is diligent. NOT THAT IT'S A BAD THING OR ANYTHING. Sissel reckons that it's pretty admirable.

What is this guy, though, he wonders? He's so... shiny and obviously not human, and cats like him? Oh, they love shiny things. A lot.

He swats a paw at him, small rumbles coming from his throat.]

[AAAH Now this cat is trying to attack him! Quickly, Chibi-Robo stores his cleaning utensil by flipping his lid off and storing it inside his head. Then he picks up his plug and runs away!

He doesn't run off too far, however. He turns back and watches the cat, waiting to see what sort of move he will make next.]

[... welp. Not quite what he wanted to do. He likes chasing around small creatures, but this thing is an awfully shiny, weird, non-living thing. He really didn't want to chase that.

He walks a few steps closer and mews, ears perked and tail high with greeting. Hey, guy, he doesn't want to hurt you. He just doesn't know what you are!]
