[What... in the world is that thing? A little, white, uncomfortably sterile robot is stationed in the hall. It's got an eye of sorts. A piercingly red eye that gives off a light sort of like a laser pointer.

It's... scanning. For what? For you! If you happen to pass by it's sight, it lets out a cheerful (albeit somewhat concerned) little chirp;]
