[ If you happen to be in the courtyard on this fine day, there's a loud rumbling noise accompanied by some shaking. It sounds and feels like the earth's going to crack open at any moment, but instead a small hole appears and some kind of mole-looking thing crawls out of it. It is followed by a girl who is practically covered in dirt and far too excited about a stuffy old school. ]

All RIGHT! Hoenn region, here we come! Beach! Ocean! Blue skies! Gyms...? Uh... ... This doesn't look like the pictures.

[ Oh, that's why she was so pumped. Looks like she's in the completely wrong place... She sits on the ground, takes out an equally dirty map and stares hard at it. Mole guy makes its way over and uses his drill hands to point at a few things and make Pokemon noises, and she nods and is full of "yeah"s and "uh-huh"s. ]

I guess we shouldn't have taken that left turn at Accumula Town, huh...? Or the right one at Hearthome... Or...

[ She turns the map upside-down and snorts at it before she stuffs it into her bag. After that she gives her dejected moley friend a reassuring pet on the head. ...Not the spikes. ]

Don't worry, pal, I got this under control. I just gotta find out where we are and we'll get to the closest beach town that way. You've earned, like, a truck's worth of rest.

[ Mole buddy goes back into its poke ball and the girl lies back for a second to unleash a hearty GROAN. She removes her hat and shakes some dirt out of her hair before standing up, completely ignores conventions and wades through some tall plants and shrubs to peek into some windows. SCHOOL? LAME... She frowns as she wanders around and kicks at the dirt. That's where you come in! Her face totally lights up at the first sign of a person, so she pretty much races over to greet you. ]

Hey! Hello! My Pokemon and me got a little lost... Where is this? It doesn't look like any Trainer's School I've ever seen.

[ She pouts and tries really hard to scour her memory banks for a Smash Academy. Any harder and smoke might pour out of her ears. ]

Nope, never heard of it! I was trying to get to Hoenn, but... Say, how many trainers go here?

Hoenn? Oh, gosh, that's a bit of a wrong turn you took there... Hm. I think there's about... four or five of us? Maybe? I'm not sure if I've met them all yet. There are a few here as teachers, too.

[ Hunky Hilda lets loose a sheepish laugh and extends her gross muddy hand. ]

[ She starts counting with her fingers and mumbling to herself, but eventually she she gives up and blows a raspberry. ]

Not too long. We wanted to practice digging! Uh... Dig.

You're from Kanto? No way! I always wanted to go there!

And you should definitely go visit someday! I'd recommend it. It's not so big as Unova, but it's just a real nice place.
