Something like pets... A summon, or maybe even demons, perhaps? I have been to worlds where creatures speak the human language.

I wouldn't say demons. Some of us are trained to fight one another. Some of us are trained to perform in contests. Pageants, I mean. Some of us are just friends to our trainers. And some of us live in the wild.

Kind of like animals.

It is a good way to compare us, though admittedly many of us may have been pets at one point in time and were set free. I am only one example. I am certain there are others here like me much the same way.

Is that so? I have been to a world where they let imps be students, so I'm not that surprised.

[Not to mention there was some cute squirrel...bear...person who experimented with things, too.]
