She had long purple hair that almost seemed to shimmer with an other-worldly force, and pointy ears. No, this wasn't an ordinary girl.

[As a fan of the ladies, a certain monkey-tailed boy couldn't help but enjoy the view. She had impressive hair, for sure, but those dancing skills were mesmerizing enough on their own regardless of whatever magical race she might have been.

From the doorway came an impressed whistle to catch her attention, accompanied by eager tail wagging.]

[Shantae was no stranger to people watching her dance. On her adventure to defeat Risky Boots, the dance parlour in Scuttle Town was a great place to farm gems earn some extra cash for equipment. So the fact that someone came in and saw her work was no surprise to her. But this wasn't the dance parlour, and she wasn't trying to transform into anything, so she could reply.]

[She stopped dancing, flipping her hair and grabbing a towel. She gave him an amused look. A little innocent flirting never hurt anyone.]

So what brings you here? You don't look like you're here for a ballet rehearsal. Or was I just too irresistible?

With a friendly laugh, he held up his hands, playing up the faux innocence.]

Well, er, I don't think that's for me to decide... but it would be a shame, um, for a room to not be used for its purpose.

Why not? I can dance! I bet I could teach other people to!

It's a sudden decision to make... but it couldn't, um, hurt to try, I suppose. Of course, er, you would need to see if the school agrees.

Well, yeah, but how hard could it be? I heard this place pretty much accepts anyone!

Ahem, then, if you're going to try and take on the...position, do you know any forms of dance other than, er... belly dancing?

Well, uh... Not... really... But how hard can it be?
