[Kids and their dogs are not unusual in the halls, but perhaps they don't often fiddle with locks on offices containing files on all the teachers.

Or swipe said files and try to read them in private. Of course, no place is really private, and maybe Phantom R and Fondue have accidentally-on-purpose settled in a place that's actually findable with a bit of searching.

He's also been very careful to appear as Phantom R rather than Raphael because his disguise is completely totally absolutely 100% foolproof]

[Well for one thing, the computer lab doesn't necessarily count as a private, exactly- not when there are people like Chihiro, who had some business in there and would likely be at least over an hour within the lab.]

[Not that there's really anything wrong to read, oh no, but it was still rather awkward when you decide to go to the lab and not, you know, have any important things related to the computers.]

[Phantom R is used to Paris, which has computers but who's schools seem to regard them as somewhat unnecessary, so as far as Phantom R is concerned, it's just a quiet place to look over things.
