[The last thing Makoto Naegi expected was to wake up somewhere with no memory of how he arrived. Again. The first time had been at Hope's Peak Academy, and led to the worst time of his entire short life. But this time was with purpose.

His former classmates... Alive? Could it have been true? If it was, he had to know. He held on to that shred of hope, however small, that it was. After all, hope was the only thing he was really good at.

So while he awoke with no memory of how he got there, lying on the quad, it didn't matter. He was here, at Smash Academy. And he had some friends to find.]

[When he finally regained consciousness, he didn't expect anyone to be around at all. He was a bit disoriented as he opened his eyes and saw a fuzzy shape above him. He could feel his head laying on something soft, and it was actually a really nice feeling. Makoto blinked a few times to try and focus his blurry vision...

...and as soon as he realized who she was, he got up like a shot, scrambling away from the girl on hands and knees. Whatever memories she may have had of their former lives, they were memories he didn't have. At least not yet. All he knew was that this was Mukuro Ikusaba, the Ultimate Soldier. Junko's sister.

[He felt himself start to panic. He knew she was part of Junko's plan, and had been deceiving them all along. But Junko killed her... And then blew her corpse up. If she was still alive, she could have been resentful of Junko's actions. But then again, Junko was absolutely stark raving bonkers, so maybe Mukuro got off on it as much as she did. Either way, he looked at her with caution when he finally got over his initial shock.]
