[Anyone out and around campus today might notice a woman wandering through, thoroughly lost and doing her best to look like she had every intention of being here. Every once in a while she stops and just stares at an object or a building, trying to place what on earth she's actually looking at.
Gotta love culture shock.]

I don't understand. What is "cosplay"?
no subject
Wait so that means! OH MY GOD, You aren't human! PERSONA!
[And, like magic (because it is), a towering woman with a dangerous looking spear looms over the two.]
no subject
M... Mom? Is that you?
no subject
Another taguel... My apologies, but I don't know you. You say I am your mother?
no subject
[Yarne had kind of been afraid of that... He nervously reaches into one of his pouches, and presents a small wedding ring that surely would be familiar, if she had ever married a certain Plegian dark mage. Which she hasn't, so it's just kind of pointless]
I'm not too sure how much you've heard about it, but, uh... I'm kind of your son from the future?
no subject
This is the first I've seen that ring. ...But, I believe you.
no subject
[He grumbles a bit, as he pockets the ring again.]
You really believe me that easy though, huh?? ...Well, I mean, I guess you'd have to. There's nowhere else another taguel could come from.
no subject
[Aww, that's very nearly a smile. There's nothing about this situation that isn't beyond strange, but this seems like the least she can do.]
What is your name?
no subject
[Yarne definitely does smile, though. Even if he doesn't remember her, it still feels nice to finally be meeting his mother.]
Thanks, though... My name's Yarne! I'm uh, the last of the taguel from my time.
no subject
And where is 'here', exactly? I've been attempting to figure it out, but there is too much here that is unfamiliar.
no subject
[Not exactly the most descriptive he could be, but, well. The place is just so different from what he's used to, he doesn't know where to even start.]
There's a school nearby, though, that I've kind of been attending? They teach fighting techniques there, so I figured it'd be a good chance to get stronger, so I can start worrying a little less.
no subject
But those moments of silence pass, and his cheerful demeanor resumes. He doesn't mask his steps as he approaches her.]
Panne! You're here! I was wondering when you'd show up.
[Like he expected her for some reason.]
no subject
Panne narrows her eyes at him, suspicious.]
You say that as if you expected me. Why is that, curse-slinger, is this your work?
no subject
[There may or may not be a young Taguel nearby listening and worrying that if this conversation doesn't go well he'll pop out of existance.]no subject
[As he speaks, he holds his palms out as a gesture of openness. He's not lying about hexing her for her arrival.]
no subject
[She shifts back slightly, still eyeing him.]
For what purpose? Grima is defeated. Is there to be more trouble?
no subject
[He says the sentence like it carries no weight to him. At least, it seems that way.]
And when we do, I'll get to stay by your side forever!
no subject
[She thinks back to meeting Yarne, the shock of white on his forehead, compares it mentally to the color of Henry's. It's definitely a match, but even so, that's one hell of a thing to wrap her mind around. And he's so casual about it, even sounds like he's excited.]
You'll forgive me if I'm skeptical.
no subject
[Henry smiles wider and laughs.]
I had no idea this was going to happen~ I've been thinking a lot about it ever since he told me. That's why I knew we were gonna cross paths again someday.
no subject
She steels herself and straightens slightly.]
I don't love you, do not think that I do. However, Yarne is family, and I plan to be a mother to him as best I can while I'm here. You can be a part of that, or not. It's your choice.
[Dang, Panne. Breaking out the serious conversations pretty quick there, aren't you?]
no subject
[He tilts his head down and clasps his hands behind his back, and his unnaturally persistent smile falters for just a moment as he bows his head. He thought a little too hard about the fact that he and Panne must have gotten married, and he let himself get attached to the idea so that Panne's denial of loving him stings. Maybe it just wasn't the right time...?]
Yeah, gotcha~. But who says we can't still do stuff together, right? Even if you don't love me, I bet Yarne would like it if we stuck together. So of course I'm willing to be a father, 'cause in a way, he's like my family! And in a way, we're his.
[And of course, he approaches it in perhaps one of the most overbearing ways.]
no subject
Cool. Let's talk to her. Enter a 5'Short" pokegirl walking up and waving.]
Hello there, yooooou seem new!
no subject
... Yes, I suppose that's accurate.
no subject
Um... Do I have something on my face?
no subject
You're not human.
no subject
[Her long tail wiggled behind her, going back to that grin of hers.]
Although I figure there's a chance that you don't know what a pokemon is, right?
