[There's a small cat-like pokemon wandering about the campus. She seems rather thin and smaller than a normal Espeon, and she seems rather lost in a way -- almost distracted. The air around her is rather thick, dense with what drives her to wander, but she still remains lost in a sense.
Perhaps it's best to come in closer and offer her some treats or something? Who knows, she might like it or she might not. There's only one way to find out for sure.]
[[Hello! :) I would appreciate the tags if you all could spare them. She's a brand new concept that I'm trying to test out with a very different twist of most psychic types.]]

She hovers just behind the stranger, trailing her and about five seconds away from nipping one of those split tail ends.]

Alas, she does sense something, and it makes her slow in her step. She might be distracted, but there is a presence... a different one at that. The hairs along her back raise and her tail whips dangerously behind her. Blacky, you had better be cautious in what you do, for she's far too old to deal with these ghostly shenanigans.]

Why. She hissed, with no intent of that being a question. She was not in the mood to be messed with at the moment.]

It wasn't a normal cat, sure, but one look suggested she was hungry. Lost, tired, and hungry; perhaps.
He didn't know what she usually ate, or if she had a meal recently, but he had on him but a few pieces of procured, cooked fish from earlier. It was what he had on him, probably was about to be used to bait more game in the wilderness.
But now it was gonna attempt to be catfood.
He made himself known to the cat, holding out the fish he got from a satchel on his person. He knelt down, beckoning her to come closer.]

This man, however... was different.
She could sense something in him in which his offer of his meal was a genuine sort. Cautiously, she kept her ears lowered but moved forward, treading slow and cautious steps. She would stop about a foot or two from him, curious of his next move since she would not beckon much further than where she stood.]

Go on, eat.
[On the back of his mind, he wondered if she was neglected in some way. Did she have a human companion? Was she a Pokemon, perhaps? Did she have a family?]

It was something she really hoped to never do again, at least for as long as she could. Her tail swished gently, and after a bit and after she had gotten her fill, she lifted her head back up. She had taken a decent sized bite out of the fish, but a lot of it still remained.
At least she gave her thanks in a soft purr-like sound. She wasn't going to be rude.]

Again, he felt better that it seemed to please her when he gave her something to eat.
Like many creatures here, he assumed maybe she understood him in some way; if not understand directly what he was saying.]
Better? The fish is yours, feel free to take all of it.

Hi! Do you want to share some pie?
[He has a pie with him. Of course he does. Why wouldn't he have a pie with him? Here, skinny Espeon. Eat well of it's flaky crust and apple interior should you be so inclined.]
no subject
Nodding all too briefly, she approached, dining mostly on the flaky crust. She wasn't too fond of sweeter fruits, but a meal was a meal. She seemed to release a purr in thanks, still feeling a hair untrusting of him. It wasn't his fault, it's been a difficult few years for her.]

So, what are you doing here, Espeon? Are you thinking of going to the school?
[He's happy to just chatter away to her, whether she's listening or intending to respond or not.]
It's a nice place, here! There's lots of sunny spots to nap in and plenty of fun things to do. My sister is an Espeon and she used to like it here when she attended. There's woods in the back and the Ursaring in the Cafeteria is called Nancy and he's really nice. He's the one who gave me this pie!

Wandering. Maybe join. School. ... Where are we... exactly?
She was always one of little word, even with her own fellow (ex)teammates.]

[He was totally used to being spoken to this way. Euphie was kind of the same.]
Even if you're wandering, you could stay here for a little while. Get some good food into you and rest up!
[In his estimation she could stand to gain a few pounds. Hey, he knew the life of a wanderer was tough and uncomfortable. He'd grown up wild. If he could share a little kindness with her, even if only a day's worth, it might make her journey that much easier.]
