I came here because I heard you were here, of course!

You don't have to prove anything! We don't have to fight. We've fought together before, we can still do that!

Haven't seen the old man in a while. [He got stuck here.]

We only fight together when there's someone else threatening to destroy you! Otherwise, you're still my number one obstacle to proving I'm the strongest there is!

[Suddenly, Treble warps in beside Bass.]

Why not? You became a fighting robot by your own choice. [And it's no fun if Rock isn't fighting back.]

Because there's no point to it! I fight to protect people, from you, or anyone who threatens them or pits robots against humans. Fighting to stroke your ego... I don't want to be your enemy. We don't have to BE enemies.

[bassnium]

We can be enemies, we can be rivals, whatever suits better. But we aren't friends.

[And as if to prove a point, he aims his buster at Rock and it begins to glow.]

I can take you down whether you defend yourself or not, Rock!

[megabuster]

[Rock clenched his fist. Bass wasn't going to listen to reason. Of course he wouldn't... He never did.

Rock's armor flashed on, and his hand converted into his Mega Buster.]

I'm giving you the chance to walk away. Please, take it.

[Fefnir is pretty sure that he'd have noticed any other robots around before! This one's definitely new, and as such, he's very suspicious. He pulls one of his guns off his back before approaching him, just in case.]

I've never seen you before. What are you doing here?

[Oh look, another robot. Forte doesn't have time for any of you.]

I'm not here for you, if that's what you're asking. I'm looking for a robot named Rock.

[He's not just holding his weapon at his side now, he's got it raised and trained on Bass.]

[Bass just... smirks at the gun-raising.]

Didn't you hear? I'm the strongest robot around, and my mission is to beat Rock to prove that. Nobody's going to stand in the way of my rematch with him.

[And in the distance, some barking could be heard, before something purple warps in behind Bass. He turns to the dog.]

What took you so long? [The robotic dog barks at him a few times. Bass looks back to Fefnir.] Are you going to stand in my way, then?

...You're kidding, right? I know the strongest reploid, and it's not you. And it's not Rock, either, so I've got no clue what you think you'll prove by beating him.

Now, whoever you are, I STRONGLY recommend you change your mind about what you want here. I'm giving you that chance. I haven't shown this much mercy to an obvious maverick in a very, very long time, and it's not going to be happening again.

That's only because you haven't seen me fight.

And it's what I was programmed to do. But I do it for more reason than that. [Yeah right.] If there's someone stronger than Rock, then it's my job to show them who the strongest really is! [Or team up with Rock to take them down. That's happened before.]

There are at least 3 reploids here much stronger than Rock, and you're looking at one of them. If you want to stop messing with little kids and try messing with Fefnir, Guardian of Neo Arcadia, General of the Army of Ash Flames, go right ahead!

[Well, here was someone stomping around like they were on a mission. An angry mission. A robot, from the looks of it - from his design, maybe even someone from Rock's era.

Not bothering to hide the suspicion in his eyes, Zero stared at this black robot, trying to determine if he was a threat. He clearly didn't recognize him - but maybe the sight of a red-armoured, blond haired reploid with a horned helmet was something of a familiar design to Bass.]
