I dunno, some monster-like things were wandering around the school and city... But they didn't exactly come and attack me, so maybe they're not shadows? I'm kinda lost about it. [Shrugging goes here.]
[!!! Well Naoto is a good enough detective to know that the shadow (haha get it) falling on the ground could come from one(1) Yu. Also you didn't just walk over the evidence like Yosuke did.]
Y-yu-san! I didn't know you were attending this school as well!
[She sighs.]
That is terrible detective work of me. I apologize.
W-well I was working on strange disturbances and a recent murder case that happened here. I've been asked by the local police department to help them gather some clues.
...but then I found these and...
[Oh goodness now she's blushing because she just realized she is holding up a back of crap at him. Literally.]
...wait. What?! Fire-breathing dragons? I know we've seen many crazy things in the Television World and our fighting against the Shadows but...are you sure about this, Yu-san?
[That's what you're supposed to say RIGHT? At least you're not seeing her peek from the curtain in her bathing suit.]
Murder investigations. They've aparently found the culprit, but they don't have enough evidence to hold up properly in court. I was called in to help with the work.
How is this school, exactly? I've been hearing strange rumors even more bizarre than the Midnight Channel.
[Kanji's demeanor perked up a bit as he recounted the affair to Naoto.]
Yeah apparently right before I came, there was some guy who murdered a bunch of people then killed this giant squid and spread the remains around the school or somethin'. But then he was caught and thrown in jail.
[He pauses, though, and looks at Naoto.]
But if you don't think they have enough evidence... Well, I'm glad you're here. Don't want them arresting the wrong guy.
I don't know what canonpoint Yosuke's supposed to be from
Except not really. He still comes walking up without hesitation though.]
'Ey Naoto!
Re: I don't know what canonpoint Yosuke's supposed to be from
Ahhh, senpai...I'm afraid you've just stepped right into evidence I've been collecting.
no subject
Oh crap!! [And it's really crap. Some kind of poo? It's not a dog's poo, that's for sure.]
What kind of crap is this!?
no subject
[She holds up an evidence bag and a pair of tweezers]
I've been collecting it for lab evidence. It's nothing like I've seen before...what kind of school is this?
no subject
no subject
This school is a lot stranger than I first gave it credit for...

Yu stands behind Naoto and hovers over her shoulder.]
Any interesting clues?
[...Actually, he has no idea if she's investigating or not, but she looks INTENSE.]
no subject
Y-yu-san! I didn't know you were attending this school as well!

...What are you doing here? Working on a case?
no subject
...but then I found these and...
[Oh goodness now she's blushing because she just realized she is holding up a back of crap at him. Literally.]
no subject
[Look at him, he looks so proud that he knows big fancy detective words.]
Is there anything I can do to hel...p... [Stare.] ... Is that a bag of... You know.
no subject
[Pause]
Y-yes. A detective's work requires uttermost research in the regards of...well everything.
no subject
no subject
[But...it's still a bag of fecal matter. She quietly puts it away in what looks like a lunch box that holds up all the other evidence.]
Yu-san? This school...it's not normal, is it.
no subject
It's no Yasogami, that's for sure... I guess it's normal enough for a school where a lot of the students are different species.
no subject
Oh I see---wait. Species? Yu-san...don't you think that is a bit, well, rude?
no subject
--Oh. ... Sorry. [He stops to ponder.] Um... Different... Creatures? No... ...People. Like fire-breathing dragons.
And the bear that runs the cafeteria.

I think she said she was a poke-a-mon, or something.
no subject
[She takes out her telephone and searches.]
Ahh I see. There seems to be many of them in this city, if this 2010 census is correct. And many can turn human...maybe they are like shadows...
no subject
There aren't any cases of assault, are there? The one I met seemed pretty harmless.
no subject
Oh uh... hey Naoto...
no subject
Kanji-kun. I had heard from the local police that you've been enrolled in this school.
[She taps a board that has a list of all the student's name.]
...how have you been?
[She's still not good with the interacting part okay]
no subject
[He stands with his hand behind his head, still feeling so embarrassed every time he sees her.]
So what brings you to this part of town?
no subject
[That's what you're supposed to say RIGHT?
At least you're not seeing her peek from the curtain in her bathing suit.]Murder investigations. They've aparently found the culprit, but they don't have enough evidence to hold up properly in court. I was called in to help with the work.

no subject
I see. Well that only mounts up the amount of evidence we've been collection to bring him to justice. Let me recap what we have;
We have obtained a video from this school's security team.
We have obtained samples of DNA from the victim along with a sample of the suspect and they match up.
There is an eye witness account from one of the students present at this school.
I still need to interrogate the murderer himself, but I have a feeling he will admit to everything.
I think that this case is very air-tight.
[Pause]
Criminals need to answer for their crimes.
no subject
Oh god they would make the best investigation team
And who might you be?
You have no idea how much I love this already
[She also stops mid writing.]
I hope you don't mind me taking notes here too.
no subject
May I have your name and age?
[She looks at her.]
You are a forensic scientist, correct? But I requested no backup today...
no subject
[Oh, this is kinda fun. So professional~. And he guessed so quickly! He must be an ace detective!]
Wow, you got that just by looking at me?
[Well...you are wearing a lab coat. And carrying a big tote bag o'science stuff.]
Uh, well no one sent me. I came here by myself. This is an interesting piece of information that I must research on!
So uh, on behalf of myself, did you need anything?
