[At some point during the night, a new patch of golden flowers sprouted up in the mansion's front yard. Pretty at a distance, but if you looked close... Something else had appeared without warning, too. After a few moments of light (or not-so-light) snoring, a kid woke up in the middle of the flower patch, very clearly alarmed at this new predicament.

A mansion? What? That wasn't... Right... ...Hold on, why were THOSE FLOWERS THERE
They stood and tried to carefully tiptoe out, but that's easier said than done for a kid that just woke up. After tromping out and yawning, the worry set in. What if...

Slowly, they knelt down next to the flowers and began talking to them.]

Hello...? Um, are you there?

[If you caught Frisk after they woke up, they were probably inside, looking skittish around the dust or sticking money inside spider webs. Or... Raiding the fridge!? Okay, first of all, there isn't even power to run a fridge, and there's nothing in there besides an ancient plastic container, which they seemed to be eyeing with an alarming amount of interest.]

[A light source approached down a hallway, even though it was daylight someone seemed to have been carrying a candle? Except that soon enough someone did show up, a freckled red haird lady with a tail... on fire? She did however notice the kid and smiled brightly as she greeted them.]

Howdy! You alright there?

[WILD SNORLAX APPEARED!

Well, not really that wild. But he is a creature that likes taking naps. He's taking one right now, in fact! Right next to that patch of flowers! Did you notice him? It's OK if you didn't - he looks kind of like a big, blue-green hill, just laying there on his tummy like that. But you can probably hear him snoring.

[Frisk turned away from their Very Important Task of trying to slide a coin into a spider web to the candlelight behind them. No, wait! ...Taillight? Yeah, go with that.]

Hi. I think so. Maybe I'm kinda lost, though...?

[They looked at the tail and jumped to several pretty big conclusions.]

Do you know which way Home is?

[YES!? OF COURSE? It would've been tough to hear if those flowers were going to answer with all that snoring going on, anyway. Maybe they would answer later...

In the meantime, they slowly approach to get a closer look at this slumbering monster. Hopefully this guy isn't a light sleeper! Because, uh, Frisk is kind of making a mess of the whole 'stealth' thing.]

Aww, well... [Riwane rubbed the back of her head and smiled apologetically.] Well you see hon, rite now a lot of us are pretty lost... How did you end up here? Were you from Final Destination City too?

[Because if not, this would be the second person who wasn't caught in the moon blast that has ended up here and not from here... Just how many poor people did it affect? At that though, she smiled again and moved closer.]

Dunno where your home is, but I can help ya look fur it if ya'd like?

[A meek meek voice called from the flowers, though it wasn't hard to see who it was coming from. As if you thought you'd be rid of that pesky flower....

Wait no that's an actual goat answering. He's laying facedown, almost as if he was transported at the same time. Weird, considering the fact that the last thing said goat remembered was coming to the flowers to collect them for a Super Special Mission.

His vision was a bit blurred by the light and just waking up himself, mistaking them for someone more familiar to Asriel. ]

I guess I took a little nap... I-I was getting them, I swear.

[[wheezes because I was about to go make my own entry but I had to respond to this first,,,, i hope this is ok haha

Also uh... I'm like 70% sure I'm going to be playing him from pre-game hahaha. So that's also something to note oops.]]

[They shrugged. That's a great question, though: how did they get here?]

I just kinda woke up outside. Is, uh, Final Destination City near a big mountain?

[Riwane thought for a moment before smiling.]

Well, there's big mountains yeah! There's also this real big volcano where P... well that's not important rite now. Hm, there's a lot of places that connected to FDC... maybe your home was connected there?

[Or maybe they were a local, just from a different area?]

Does any of this place look familiar?

[That voice...! It wasn't the one Frisk was expecting, that's to say the least. Their alarm took a different turn, from I hope that 'best friend' of mine is playing nice to is this all a bad dream, too? as they started shuffling forward on their knees.

Without saying a word, they give the goat a pat on the shoulder -- like they were trying to check and see if he was real or not. ...Their face scrunches up a little in confusion. How? Why...?]

Can you pinch me to see if I'm dreaming? 'Cause, uh, I don't-

[Wait, uh, what was he talking about?]

[[so, so okay! I'M READY TO BE DESTROYED because I'm aiming to play Frisk from the good ending.]]

[As they grew closer, Asriel flinched a hair from the pat on the shoulder. It seemed almost a natural reaction, but he didn't seem to skip a beat from it. He too was a bit confused, maybe his ears were clogged up? This person didn't sound like their sibling...]

Chara, what are you talking about?

[He rubbed his eyes, blinking a few times. Wait. That wasn't Chara at all. Asriel sat up straight, looking at Frisk with still a confused expression on his own face. ]

Oh! I'm sorry! I thought you were someone else! Um, I was getting buttercups -- my sibling convinced me, it's for something really important. Do you know if there's any nearby?

[Ok good! I'M READY TO DESTROY Best ending to play them from tbh.

WEEPS His Theme came on as I started replying, I have like 500 songs on my playlist and that came on. WHYyyy. ]]

Whoa! A volcano? Really? That's awesome!

[They're more interested in climbing up to see that bad boy up-close and personal than figuring out where they were, now. But STILL! It would be rude not to answer this nice monster's questions.]

Nuh-uh. Hey, are any of the mountains called Mt. uh... Ebo... Tob... Do... What was it... Ebott!

[blazebottom]

[Riwane smiled and nodded.]

Gotta agree there, I love volcanoes myself! Though can't say I can even see a peep of it 'round these parts which is a bummer...

[Let lone, now that she thinks about it, she doesn't see any sign of the other mountains...]

No, sorry hon. Can't say that rings a bell, but if you'd like I can fly us up high and we can see if there's any mountains in this place that might look familiar?

[Chara... Was that the name they kept hearing? In the flowers, in those tapes... At least it wasn't 'fart' this time. Was it right to mess around with the past like this? Or was he coming back to the future? Or... Ugh, what was even going on!?]

Buttercups...?

[They looked down at the flowers with a steadily-growing sense of dread. Were they the ones?]

Are they, uh... These? What do you need 'em for?

YOU CAN FLY!?

[THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!! Wait, whoa, play cool, Frisk. You don't want to get grounded for not using your inside voice in a big scary house.]

Can we? You probably know more about them than I do!

[Riwane had to chuckle at their excitement and nodded.]

Yup! Sure can! C'mon let's go outside and hit the skies yeah?

[Sure enough, Riwane led the way out the main entrance and to one of the large vacant areas of the property. There she gave them some space before, smiling and giving them a thumbs up before 'poofing' right into a Charizard.]

[His paws reached down to the flowers, very gently treading through them. He didn't want to break them, but they seemed almost as if they were the ones!]

I think so! They look like they could be the ones... They look almost certainly like the ones that I've seen before.

[A smile seemed to grow on his face as he realized that he was so close! He was going to make his sibling happy and that's what he had strived to do the most. His smile continued, not even wavering at Frisk's question.]

We're gonna fix everything! Chara and I are going to break the barrier, and this is the first step.

[Wait... wait he shouldn't have said that. Maybe. Biting his lip lightly, his eyebrows furrowed slightly.]

You won't tell anyone, right? I don't think I was suppose to tell anyone this just yet.

Really? Like... For real? That would be awesome!

[Frisk followed her outside, and pretty much did nothing but scream when she turned into a dragon.]

[Riwane chuckled a growly laugh before smiling. She wasn't sure if the kid would understand her, but certain people understood Poke-speech so who knows!]

Not all of them no, at least none outside of Final Destination City as far as I know. Would be nice though!

[Oh, no... Yeah, that was kind of what Frisk was afraid of. Could they... SAVE Help him? Stop him from helping his sibling go through with their plan?

Frisk looked scared, like maybe this all was a bad dream. At least if it was, they wouldn't have to deal with another goodbye...]

N-no, I'm not gonna tattle. But... Don't they, y'know... Make people get sick?

[It's a complete and utter mystery as to whether Frisk understands Riwane or not. They seemed to get the gist of what she was saying if not, though!]

Oh, man... It would be so cool if monsters could just poof into people whenever they wanted!

[They stood on their tiptoes for a moment.]

Is it okay if I get on?

[At this point the young monster did look a tad guilty. He had remembered what had happened when his father ingested them, but his father was really big and strong and he was able to make it through. It still pained him with a bit of guilt, clutching his shirt lightly as he mustered to speak. ]

I know, it hurt my papa before, but he got better! And Chara told me that this would be best, I don't want them to get sick either but... but I just want to make them happy, and we can help make everyone happy by doing this.

[Just... make them happy. Asriel was a good kid and he just... wanted to do what was right, but Frisk's expression was concerning him. Was this really not the right way to do this? He was starting to perhaps feel a few bubbles of doubt within him, but kept it to himself.]

Mm...

[Frisk nodded. It was a sentiment they could get behind: make your loved ones happy and hurt as few people as possible along the way. If it worked, great! But how do you tell someone you've seen their future? ...And how do you tell that someone that you've seen their plan fail?

They fidgeted and looked down at their hands, desperately thinking of a way to bring the idea up gently.]

Hey. Have... Um... This is gonna sound weird, but have we met before?

[littledreemurr]

[Being young and naive holds a lot of grounds for either good or bad happening, honestly.

The next question did strike him as odd. Frisk certainly did bear resemblance to Chara... but--]

No... I've only really met one other human besides you just now. Why are you asking?

I just kinda feel like I know you from somewhere, maybe. Are you Asriel?
