V-VOICETESTING...
[Today's been a surprisingly quiet day in the academy. Obviously, this is incredibly suspicious considering how whacky the school usually is, but nevertheless nothing odd...or maybe "normal" has happened yet. In fact, despite how Winter's knocking on our doors, it's actually rather sunny out! The weather forecasters even said it'd be like this for a while, nothing but bright, sunny days for at least 2-3 days.
...what they forgot to mention, however, was to warn against low-flying dragons.]
H-hey, look out!
[Did...did that dragon...bug...thing just talk? Thankfully not, it was just the kid riding on top of it, so that's one problem solved.
...there's still the problem of a 180 pound dragon heading towards you, though. Might wanna move.]

SHIT
It's a good thing N's athletic or else he really wouldn't have been able to roll away from its trajectory in time. He managed it, at any rate, but that Pokemon made a huge descent. He flipped his gaze behind him, looking for any sign of it. Was it okay?! ]
no subject
Yeesh, talk about a crash landing...
[The young trainer hopped off his Flygon's back and walked around to her front, casually looking her over to make sure she wasn't badly injured. After giving her a small pat on the head, he concluded she was alright and gave a sigh of relief.
...why does he feel like he's forgetting something?
...
...oh right, the dude he almost mauled. Kinda important.]
Hey bro, you okay?!
no subject
Yes. [ He stammers slightly, regaining his composure and sprinting for the pair. He looks as if he's completely forgotten about himself, focusing on Brendan and his Flygon.
He's kind of focusing on the Flygon first. Don't mind his bias. ]
But most importantly, are you all alright? That was a terrible crash. At the velocity you were going in companionship with the tailwind, affected by your turbulence, the rate of descent, the steep obtuse angle of which you fell... That could have been very dangerous.
[ Don't, uh, mind his babbling about the science behind it all, either. ]
no subject
Really? Phew, that's a relief.
[He grins, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. At least...until N speaks up again, then he just kind of stares. Blankly.
Jeeze, this dude could sure talk fast...]
Huh? ...oh! Heh, yeah I'm fine. So is Sandy.
[And Brendan gestures over to the Flygon, which nods her head.]
no subject
Sandy... That's her name? What a lovely choice. I don't suppose you're her trainer?
[ N kneels at the dragon-bug-whatchamacallit's side, reaching a tender hand to stroke her scales. Goodness, she's so soft and full of roundness in her geometrical design. How precious. ]
What kind of Pokemon is she? [ He's never seen a Flygon before, really. Even in his time in Hoenn, he didn't learn about every Pokemon there was to see there. ]
no subject
[...Brendan, honey, he probably doesn't know what a Trapinch is. Nevertheless, he sure does look proud of his 'mon, if that smirk and puffed out chest is any indication.
Meanwhile, the Flygon lets out a soft, almost purr-like sound. Clearly she's enjoying the extra attention she's getting.]
She's a Flygon. I take it you're not from Hoenn?
no subject
Well, at any rate, it doesn't matter. What matters is he has a beautiful new Pokemon before him, and he wants to lavish it in all the attention and love he can, especially after getting into such trouble. Poor girl. ]
Oh, no, I am not. I have been to Hoenn, but that is not my native land. I am from Unova.
[ a.k.a some far-off land or something. ]
no subject
[Wait...did he say Unova? Being a few years after Emerald, he's actually visited there for training and catching pokemon.]
As for Unova, I've been there before. It was quite the place! Lots of Pokemon I never even knew existed.
no subject
Tell me, where have you been in Unova? Have you been to Nimbasa City, to the ferris wheel?
[ BECAUSE THAT'S THE BEST PART. ]
no subject
She walks over to her trainer, giving him a little nudge. In response, he turns his head and smiles at her, petting her head slowly. After a bit of that, he turns his attention back to N.]
Dude, are you kidding? I've ridden that ferris wheel at least ten times! It's got a pretty sweet view.
[It was only part of the reason he went to Nimbasa, though. Still, it was probably the most fun he had there...or at least second to his fight with Elesa.]
no subject
In fact... [ A thoughtful hum. He wonders if Brendan's just passing by or if he's actually a citizen here now. ]
We could go to that amusement park someday. Will you remain in Final Destination for long?
no subject
[He looks around curiously, as if trying to find some kind of landmark.]
...I've never even heard of this place before. I was trying to get back to Johto, but Sandy and I got caught in a bad storm. It sent us all the way to...wherever the heck this is.
no subject
[ Of course, N wouldn't exactly know how. He can't say he knows a good route from here to Johto. He, uh... He knows routes from Hoenn and Sinnoh to Johto, though!
!
!!!
Yeah, that's not of any help. ]
no subject
[A small sigh escapes his lips.]
...anyway, yeah. Maybe someone around here can help.
no subject
She then scrambles to her feet once the dragon flies past to run over and investigate.]
Holy cra-- Oh man-- Dude, is that a Pokemon!?
no subject
Phew, that could have been bad. Brendan hops off Sandy after that crash landing, checking her over to make sure she's alright. Once she's good, he goes to check on the person he almost hit...
Oh. It was a girl.
Hmm...she kinda looked like a trainer
if that sweet hat was any indication.]Heh , yep! Pretty cool, huh?
no subject
[She closes the distance left between her and Brendan and tilts her head at his Pokemon. She has to stand on her tiptoes to make any attempt at eye contact with it.]
What kind is it?
no subject
[At the sound of her name, the Flygon coos, lowering her head down to Hilda's height so she can pet it.]
Looks like she likes ya.
no subject
[Look she can't tell what gender a Pokemon is until she battles it or tries to catch it, ok]Hiya, Sandy! [She pats her on the head.] What's crackin'?
[Hilda then faces Brendan, still giving the Flygon some well-deserved head pets.] So, where you two from?
no subject
[The Flygon smiles and lets out a cheerful sound. It probably translated into "not much!", but I don't speak Pokemon. Either way, Sandy's just going to lightly push against Hilda's hand and continue to make sounds of utter content.
...Hilda you are so spoiling her.
Nevermind that Brendan does the same thing.]I'm from Hoenn. The name's Brendan.
no subject
I'm Hilda. From Unova. S'nice to meet you two!
Are you guys gonna go to school here?
I love that icon so much
[Wait...what? School?]
Huh? I don't remember signing up for any classes here. In fact, I kinda just...crashed landed here.
[Wow, now he's embarrassed.]
No idea where the heck I am.
IT'S A FAVORITE
[Hilda explaining things... No...]
I think it's called, like... Last Destination or something. Final Destination? Kinda whack if you ask me, but this's a school. Smash Academy.
