[Today's been a surprisingly quiet day in the academy. Obviously, this is incredibly suspicious considering how whacky the school usually is, but nevertheless nothing odd...or maybe "normal" has happened yet. In fact, despite how Winter's knocking on our doors, it's actually rather sunny out! The weather forecasters even said it'd be like this for a while, nothing but bright, sunny days for at least 2-3 days.

...what they forgot to mention, however, was to warn against low-flying dragons.]

[Did...did that dragon...bug...thing just talk? Thankfully not, it was just the kid riding on top of it, so that's one problem solved.

She then scrambles to her feet once the dragon flies past to run over and investigate.]

Phew, that could have been bad. Brendan hops off Sandy after that crash landing, checking her over to make sure she's alright. Once she's good, he goes to check on the person he almost hit...

Hmm...she kinda looked like a trainer if that sweet hat was any indication.]

Heh , yep! Pretty cool, huh?

[She closes the distance left between her and Brendan and tilts her head at his Pokemon. She has to stand on her tiptoes to make any attempt at eye contact with it.]

What kind is it?

She [huff huff grumble grumble] is a Flygon. Her name's Sandy.

[At the sound of her name, the Flygon coos, lowering her head down to Hilda's height so she can pet it.]

Looks like she likes ya.

Sorry. My bad. [Look she can't tell what gender a Pokemon is until she battles it or tries to catch it, ok]

Hiya, Sandy! [She pats her on the head.] What's crackin'?

[Hilda then faces Brendan, still giving the Flygon some well-deserved head pets.] So, where you two from?

[The Flygon smiles and lets out a cheerful sound. It probably translated into "not much!", but I don't speak Pokemon. Either way, Sandy's just going to lightly push against Hilda's hand and continue to make sounds of utter content.

...Hilda you are so spoiling her. Nevermind that Brendan does the same thing.]
