[There seems to be a man just hanging around the campus. A black cap is placed precisely on his head and his matching dark coat occasionally flutters in the wind. His posture is stiff and his gaze is direct and slightly intimidating. Every so often, he pulls out a pocket watch from his coat, checks the time, and returns to his statue-like stance.

[A wild Pokemon? No, this animal didn't look like any Pokemon that Ingo knew of. How strange. Its fur looked awfully soft and fluffy maybe if he just pet it-- No! No, absolutely not. He's already behind schedule, waiting here. He can't afford any distractions.]

My apologies, but I don't have time to play with you.

[No matter how tempting it is.]

[Well, Ammy is the fluffiest, but she wasn't looking to play, she just wanted to know what you were doing, just standing around. It was evidently very busy work!

No matter. She lay down at his side and curled up to nap. Maybe she'd find out what Ingo was waiting for this way.]

[Oh. So this dog isn't going to bother him while he waits. How considerate. That earned Ammy a scratch behind the ears. He crouches down beside her and half-mutters to himself.]

This city seems to be populous and yet their train system is extremely lacking. With such a large school community, you would think they'd maintain their subway better.

[Yaaaay head scratches! There was a pause once Ingo had finished speaking before another voice presented herself.]

Most live here already.

[Ingo freezes, unsure of the voice's location. Finally, he glances down at the dog. It isn't uncommon for Psychic Pokemon to communicate with their trainers through telepathy. Perhaps this animal has similar abilities?]

My apologies. I didn't intend to voice my complaints out-loud. And certainly not before introducing myself. I am the Subway Boss Ingo, it is a pleasure to meet you.

[Goodness, how embarrassing. And even after he said that he was busy. Well, his plans were already running late, no purpose in pretending to be on-time anymore.]

You don't get many visitors from outside the city?

No need to be formal with this one, young man.

[A chuckle.] All of this place's students and faculty come here from other lands. By foot, by air, by disruptions in existence... Everyone's got their ways of getting around.

... Disruptions in... existence? I'm afraid I don't follow you. What do you mean?

A friend of mine used the term "interdimensional portals". I'm afraid I don't quite understand it myself!

That doesn't really clear up my confusion, but thank you anyway. Perhaps if I stick around here, the answer may present itself.

[Okay, Ingo really wants to ask. But it's kind of rude. Should he? Maybe not. Oh, but if he doesn't, then the question will bother him for the rest of the day and then he won't be able to concentrate on his work and then--]

[As in "god of all Pokemon" Arceus? No way, that's impossible. Legendary Pokemon were myths, weren't they? To think that a god really exists, and attends a school no less! Ingo couldn't wrap his mind around such a thing.]

Ah... That's... Please excuse me. It's not every day I hear that a god is walking about like a normal person... I apologize, but it's rather hard for me to believe.

[She laughs at this.] Oh, I'm sorry, I shouldn't laugh. It's just interesting how many from her world share your reaction... and how other worlds have also forgotten their gods.

[Ingo fixes his hat and clears his throat, trying to regain his composure.]

I suppose so... They are called legendary Pokemon for a reason. They don't reveal themselves often, so people start to doubt their existence. Humans tend to be skeptical of things without proven facts.

[The wolf whines, looking downcast.] Indeed, yet when their belief falters, so too does the power of the gods...

[She straightens herself again.] But never mind that... What brings you here, young man?

[Ingo is tempted to ask what she means. Could it be that she has some sort of connection with the gods? She did claim to be friends with Arceus. But he allows her to change the topic.]

I'm a Boss of the Battle Subway from Unova. Through research and word of mouth, I heard that there were plenty of Pokemon and trainers in this city. I thought it may be advantageous to lay down tracks here so that more people can experience the Battle Subway if they so desire.

Since the school is such a central part of the city, I was hoping to get the Headmaster's approval. Perhaps get an estimate of how many Pokemon and trainers come through here.

Many terms unfamiliar to me... yet again, my fellow deity may be able to answer better than I.

[She stood up, looking around.] Roberta? Are you near?

[Pop goes the Arceus.]

[Suddenly, a woman appears. This day just keeps getting weirder and weirder.

Wait. Wait, the dog said "fellow deity." And then this woman just pops out of nowhere. Just what is going on?]

Ah, hello...

[She adjust his hat perfectly.]

[Oh goodness, his precious personal space. Although, if she really is a god, then telling her to stop might do more harm then good.]

I'm well. My apologies, I did not introduce myself. I'm Subway Boss Ingo. It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss...

[Aw yeah totally subtle about asking if she's a god.]

Subway Boss? I haven't seen those in a long while.

My name's Bob Heather Arceus.

["Arceus." She totally just said "Arecus."

If Ingo was any other person, he'd probably freak out about meeting god. However, growing up with Emmet, he learned to simply roll with the punches and just. Stop questioning everything. If anything, he was more surprised by her mere existence rather than by her sudden presence.]

Oh... It's an honor to meet you. I never would have thought that I'd encounter Arceus here. It's truly a pleasure.

But, ah, do excuse my curiosity. Can all Pokemon change into a human-like form here, or just you?

The ones at the school can. However, it is not something all Pokemon know, even if they all have the potential for it.

[And then he starts to imagine Chandelure or Haxorus as humans whoops.]

Am I correct to assume that's a unique aspect about this school? If so, it's much more than meets the eye. I wasn't expecting any of these surprises when I arrived.

It's a little more than that actually. But you could say that yes, it's uniquely found in the school, so to speak.

And the school is full of surprises.
