Oh my!
Princess Peach was still new at the academy. She didn't recognize many of the people there, and without a horde of retainers around her, she felt lonely. But she was nothing if not resilient and resourceful. She quickly found herself a way to relax, and hopefully meet some new faces.
If there was one thing she did well, it was tea and cake. And so, out in the fields, with a big soft blanket spread out over the grass, the princess had set up an impromptu tea party, complete with fine cups and a plate with a delicious looking chocolate cake for anyone who wanted a piece. Would you come and partake?

It'd be rude to at least not say hello, since she was pretty sure she wasn't hard to miss.
"Hey there, nice day for a picnic huh?" Well that didn't sound awkward at all, clearly by how the halfbreed was lightly blushing and looking like she regretted speaking.

"I mean, if you don't mind?" she moved over to sit nearby. "I love tea, yes."

When Ronnae took a seat, Peach took an empty cup and poured some tea into it. "Do you like cream or sugar" she asked.
no subject
"I'm Ronnae, Ronnae 'Mash Belore Ryllos. I'm new here." she added as an afterthought.
"Both, if you don't mind." She had a bit of a sweet tooth.

Having now confirmed that she was new also made her smile more confidently. "I'm glad I'm not the only one then." She chuckled a bit shyly. "What do you think of the place?"
no subject
She gingerly plated a slice of cake, offering it and a small fork to Ronnae. "What about you?" she asked.
no subject
"It's really odd... but in a sense also familiar. I'm not a stranger for nexus like hubs, places with interconnecting worlds and dimensions that at points come together. But other than that, this is pretty out there. The variety of people here is astounding."

Just ask Fox and Sheik."Oh, so am I!" she added. "It's going to be so much fun!"
no subject
"Thank you so much for the cake and tea. They were delicious." she added as she gave a small nod of her head.

Strange as it may be, Mona's curiosity for such a shindig was piqued. Never mind that she'd be a few minutes late for class if she stopped by for a chat, she'd merely drive her bike through the school buildings to make up the lost time. Interested in getting the low down on the impromptu picnic, Mona neared the party and waved to gain the occupant's attention.
"Ciao!" the red head beamed, putting forth a friendly smile. "Nice setup you've got going on here. What's the special occasion we're celebrating, hm? Ooh! Wait, don't tell me! Let me take a wild stab in the dark first...someone's birthday, yeah?"

"Oh, what the heck? Of course I'd be more than happy to join you!" She beamed, turning back to Peach and finding an open place to settle down before she suddenly changed her mind to head back towards the school.
"This is one awesome spread you've got going on here. Had I known a picnic of this caliber was happening I'd have dressed more along the line for the occasion." Mona laughed, pulling on the edges of her shirt and smothering down her clothes to appear a tad more presentable.

She got an empty cup and poured out some tea for Mona. "Do you take cream or sugar with your tea, dear?
no subject
"What brings a classy girl like you to these parts?" she asked, moving a stray orange bang away from her face. Mona sought her inner journalist to strike up a conversation with her lovely hostess to maybe pry out a few answers in order to break the ice between them.
no subject
"Visiting friends," she said plainly. "I admit, I AM considering coming here myself... There's a lot to learn out there besides royal protocol!"
no subject
"Friends eh? Maybe I know a few of the people you've come seeking, perhaps I might even have a class or two with them." She downed yet another gulp of tea. Man, who knew a nice casual day could bring out such flavors in a tea. Or perhaps that was Peach's doing?
"It's so totally crazy how this school brings in people from all over and then surprises you with how small the world really is. And from those people, you can learn whole new concepts you never knew existed, even learn from the places they've been. I can attest, if you've come to broaden your horizons this is definitely THE place to be!" Being careful not to drop her cup, Mona accented her words with gestures with a free hand, alternating her cup between them to further emphasize the movements. Suddenly a hand flew to her mouth, her eyes growing wide.
"Oh my gosh, how rude of me! I'm blabbering on and on like a motormouth and I haven't even given the decency to give you my name." Remedying the situation, Mona held out her hand in greeting to Peach. "Name's Mona!"
no subject
"Is that right?" she asked happily. "Oh, have you met, say... a man named Mario? Or a brunette named Daisy?" she asked curiously, clapping her hands together.
no subject
"She's the only Daisy around the school, so it's gotta be her. Ironically we're friends now, her and I. Long story how that happened..." the red headed woman waved her hand to dismiss the thought, deciding to save the lengthy, crazy story for another time and another place.
The conditions to which Mona and Daisy had met were bizarre to say the least, a story one would think completely concocted from a feverish dream. A competitive, yet friendly motorcycle race turned disorganized by a tsunami of miniature bikers, climbing a building to escape them and breaking into an apartment were all part of the strange tale.
"As for Mario? Sorry, not a clue." she shrugged. However she added on the quick, "Though funny enough I have a close friend back home with a similar name who goes on about a Mario this, and a Mario that. Hm, oh well!"
no subject
She tapped her chin with her finger. "It's a shame you haven't met Mario before though... He's a wonderful man. A little short, wears overalls, has a big bushy moustache, and the sweetest smile ever..." She sounded a bit dreamy as she explained the plumber's signature look to Mona.
no subject
"...You, uh, you wouldn't mind if I had a second cup?" she asked. She turned her cup upside down to show not a drop was left.
no subject
She was knocked out of her reverie by Mona's question, and she quickly snapped back to reality. "Oh! Yes, of course, dear!" she said, taking the cup from her and refilling it to her precise specifications.

HEY! Hey Princess! Princess Peach! Princeeeessss! Princess! Hey, Princess Peach! Heeey!

Ah... Hello, Lemmy. Would you care for tea...?
[Maybe she could distract him with something shiny.]
no subject
"Princess!! Who said you could have a tea party on MY lawn?!"
no subject
"Hello, Wendy," she greeted politely. "But I'm afraid you don't own the lawn."
no subject
"It is TOO mine!! If it's not, then Daddy will steal it for me! Get off my lawn, or I'm telling!"
no subject
She would at least TRY to be diplomatic.
