Oh my!

Princess Peach was still new at the academy. She didn't recognize many of the people there, and without a horde of retainers around her, she felt lonely. But she was nothing if not resilient and resourceful. She quickly found herself a way to relax, and hopefully meet some new faces. 

If there was one thing she did well, it was tea and cake. And so, out in the fields, with a big soft blanket spread out over the grass, the princess had set up an impromptu tea party, complete with fine cups and a plate with a delicious looking chocolate cake for anyone who wanted a piece. Would you come and partake?

Peach smoothed out her flowing pink gown where she sat, and smiled up at her newly arrived company. "It's a lovely day, isn't it?" she asked, patting the blanket. "Come on, have a seat!" she offered. "Do you like tea?"

"Oh, w-well I didn't want to impose, j-just saying hi but..." It'd be rude to turn down such a pleasant offer.

"I mean, if you don't mind?" she moved over to sit nearby. "I love tea, yes."

"Oh, it's no imposition!" Peach said, the smile never leaving her face. "Be my guest! My name is Princess Peach, and it's a pleasure to meet you!"

When Ronnae took a seat, Peach took an empty cup and poured some tea into it. "Do you like cream or sugar" she asked.

"Pleasure to meet you, didn't know there were Princesses in this world too." She personally had never met one, but she knew about plenty of Azerothian royalty.

"I'm Ronnae, Ronnae 'Mash Belore Ryllos. I'm new here." she added as an afterthought.

"Both, if you don't mind." She had a bit of a sweet tooth.

"Not at all," Peach said, scooping some sugar gingerly into the cup and pouring some cream in, stirring it before offering it to Ronnae. "Then we already have something in common," she added with a warm smile. "I'm new here too!"

Ronnae took the cup and bowed her head in thanks before smiling. "Thank you very much."

Having now confirmed that she was new also made her smile more confidently. "I'm glad I'm not the only one then." She chuckled a bit shyly. "What do you think of the place?"

As Peach moved to cut a slice of cake, she thought about what she had seen thus far. "Well, it is a fairly peculiar place, but I've seen my share of the peculiar as of late," she explained. "All in all, it's quite an interesting place to be, and so far I've met some lovely people."

She gingerly plated a slice of cake, offering it and a small fork to Ronnae. "What about you?" she asked.

Ronnae nodded, accepting the slice of cake as she listened.

"It's really odd... but in a sense also familiar. I'm not a stranger for nexus like hubs, places with interconnecting worlds and dimensions that at points come together. But other than that, this is pretty out there. The variety of people here is astounding."

"So I've noticed," Peach replied with a nod. "It's very curious, but very fascinating too!" she said. "There's so much to see and learn about!"

"I'm actually really looking forward to the experience." she voiced with a sheepish smile. Taking a bite of the cake made her feel a lot more at ease. What's better than cake to break the ice?

If there was something, Peach hadn't found it. Just ask Fox and Sheik.

"Oh, so am I!" she added. "It's going to be so much fun!"

Ronnae nodded and finished off her cake before placing her plate down.

"Thank you so much for the cake and tea. They were delicious." she added as she gave a small nod of her head.

"It was my pleasure," Peach replied with a smile. "I look forward to getting to know you!"

Ronnae stood and bowed. "Aye, it was. Thank you again for having me and I look forward to learn more about you as well."
