Testing Blue's Acacia~

[Well, someone got out of her Pokeball when her trainer wasn't looking. This someone also apparently got her hands on an earring that could humanize her. So, now she was happily roaming around the school, taking the sights in. Her brown spiky hair cascaded down her back and resembled the quills of her Pokemon form - a Sandslash.

Humming, she wondered. Whatever shall I do?

Surprise Blue, tease her about boys... check up on Jock, make sure the fire pup was being a good boy... get the latest gossip news and information... Heck, while she was out, maybe she'll even enroll in the school. It was about time she joined in on the fun, yeah?]

He stopped in his tracks when he saw her. Did she notice him yet? Could he bolt?]

"I could recognize those ears anywhere. Is that you, Jolt?" Nope. She was not letting him get away. Nuh. Uh.

"Yeeeeah, it's me," he answered. "And from that hair, I'd say you were Acacia. When'd you get a human form?"

Today. [She said as she slunk an arm around his shoulders.

Well. The hair was kind of a giveaway. Sometimes I notice things. Things are good! So is Blue letting you out to attend classes?

[Yep. Totally not hard at all to recognize the big ol' creature with a black hole of a stomach.

But he held out his gigantic bag of chips for her to take some anyway. He was super nice like that.]

[Generous and oblivious as always, wasn't he? Not that she disliked him, she rather found his traits and character adorable. It made her wonder how long it would take for him to realize who she was.]

Thanks! [She happily went in for a chip and munched on it.] So, Sonny, you don't have a human form? I was under the assumption all the Pokemon who attended this school adopted one.

[There was a flash of white light and a POOMF noise and he suddenly was no longer a giant panda creature, but a scruffy boy in casual clothes, sitting there in the grass.]

I have a Human form! I just like to sleep in the sunshine as a Pokémon! My belly is bigger that way so I could get more sunshine!

[He offered her another chip.]

How do you know my name? Are you one of Red's fans? It's nice to meet you! Your hair is really cool!

[Red had a lot of fans. Pokémon league champion and all that.]

[One of the weirder things about not being a Human at this school was how often people assumed you were a Pokémon. Ever since coming here, Knuckles had been confused for one of the things by several students. Sandslash was one thing that he'd been called before.

Of course, he had no clue that this totally Human person was a Sandslash.

He just knew that she was walking down the hall towards him and he could practice his 'being polite' skills.]

Good morning. [She bounced the greeting back and glanced at the red figure before her. Curious little thing he was. A Pokemon? Some unidentified species?]

[Oh. Oh, OK. So that was how it was going to be, huh? An actual conversation? Sure. Fine. He could do that.

Oh. Uh. Hey. I'm Knuckles. Knuckles the Echidna.

[You'll have to excuse him. He's still kind of shy around The Ladies. Not many of them on his Island. In fact, a very round number of them. Zero.]

...it's. Uh. It's nice to meet you.

[How cute! A shy creature! The best kind to tease.

But really, what was an Echidna? She'd ask Blue later as she couldn't pass up this opportunity to mess with the opposite gender. Or all genders, actually.

She got down closer to his level.]

It's nice to meet you too! I've never met an Echidna before. Your red color is lovely and you look pretty cool. I'm a Pokemon - a Sandslash. Have you ever met one of me before?

[What he meant to say was 'Yeah! Red is awesome!' and 'Thanks for saying I look cool!'.]

Th-thanks. Uh... I never met one before. But there's some people have said I kinda LOOK like one? I... uh. I guess?

[He took a little step back and looked her over.]

I guess you must look pretty different when you're not a Human, huh?

[Because right now he sure couldn't see the resemblance!]

[Meanwhile this Pokemon hadn't taken to a human form yet. Imagine a creature too beautiful and amazing and awesome for his own good trapped in a Pokeball for waaaaaayyyyyyy too long. Like decades kind of long. Funny how those capsules kind of preserve everything inside despite that, but needless to say he has a lot catching up to do.

Like, whoa, these TVs were in color? He's pressing his big lion paws all over one of the TVs in the student lounge.]

But where's the buttons...?

[Poor guy. One half of Acacia told her to help. The other said to watch and chuckle.

Blue would probably want her to help, so the goodness of Acacia's heart won.]

Here. The buttons are here. [She pointed them out. Even demonstrated what the channel buttons would do by pressing on them.]

[Cute babe alert! But the TV is easily just as distracting. That's a young cat's mind, easily dazzled by razzle dazzle. There's buttons, teeny tiny at the back of the TV and of course there's the remote. He gives a low whistle, impressed.]

You're seriously telling me there's more than like five channels? And it's all remote controlled? Crazy. If I didn't know any better I'd say you were a wizard.

[Sorry, darling. She had no interest in cats - being a mouse and all - but he certainly did have nice fur. That much she could admire.]

And yeah, there are more than five channels and the grand existence of a television remote. [Just where has this electric feline been not to know this stuff?]

[It wasn't entirely unusual for one of Blue's pokemon to be out and about on their own. The trainer had always been pretty lenient about their comings and goings around campus, as long as they checked in with her in a timely manner. Having discovered that the academy was kind of a hot spot for Weird Happenings and Bullshit, Blue's stipulation for free reign was an increase in check ins. That sort of thing.

So she didn't mind so much when she found Acacia's ball empty.

EXCEPT. She hadn't. Heard from her for a while. WHERE WAS HER PRETTY SANDSLASH...]

[Was her dear trainer worried yet? Acacia had been enjoying the novelties of the human figure so much that she lost track of the time. Whoops. Hopefully giving a big ol' bear hug from behind would make up for that?]

Lookie! I got myself a human form, too!

[WHOA NELLY WHO WHAT WHEN WHERE.

Blue let out a yelp because 1. bear hug and 2. an unfamiliar (??? but not??) voice and 3. ????

Torn between looking at them and punching them, Blue managed to go with the less painful option and twisted around a bit to look at who had grabbed her.
