Braiiiiiinssssss
Look out FDC, there's a zombie of the loose! Don't mind that she's incredibly adorable and cheerful or anything, really, don't... Chances are she's already tricked and conned you into doing just what she wants! That doesn't stop a select few from already warning the proper authorities.
Can't a girl just appreciate your brain? With some sauce on the side? And a good coffee too!

How did she get here? What was she doing here?
Shantae almost dropped the coffee she was carrying when she saw Rottytops outside the school.

"Shantae! Hey! Hi!" and then she was glomped. "I didn't think I'd see you in a place like this!"

"One second I was hanging out outside, the next, zzzap!" she claps her hands. "And here I was. Weird."
no subject
"I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm happy to see you, I'm just confused by the HOW you got here!" she elaborated. Without even thinking, she held out the coffee cup in case Rotty needed some. Abner told her once that coffee was what separated them from the feral zombies. She still didn't know if he was making it up or not.

"Aww, I can leave if you want me to. I'm sure I can find my way back." she said in a bit of a somber tone.
"Don't want to ruin whatever fun you're having here." Of course she was just teasing, it was what she did.
However when Shantae offered the coffee, she took it with a smile and a small nod.

At one point in time that wouldn't have been true. After what she had done to Shantae's family a while ago, she didn't think she'd ever be happy to see Rottytops again. But her last adventure gave her insight into the zombie girl's mind that changed her opinion. She was determined to give her another chance and try to be her friend.
"How long have you been in town? I can show you around!"

A lot had happened in the past between them and Rotty felt horrible for having fallen for Risky's tricks and for what she did to Shantae's family but... She really did mean it when Shantae meant a lot to her and she'd do anything to keep their friendship.
That didn't mean she couldn't have fun though!
"Just got here actually! I'd love that... but I'm really tired..." Teehee...

Hey! Hello, do you know where I am? Wehre this is anyways, and the direction to Scuttle Town?
no subject
I'm afraid I'm as lost as you are. Can't help you.

If I could only access the World Wide Web I'd be able to see where we are and where we want to go, but ever since arriving I haven't been able to check it.

That's not some kind of ritual, is it?
no subject
Would have been really handy right about now.

You can understand his conflict when he sees one at Smashbucks. Although the zombies he's used to are a orders of magnitude more horrible (not to mention partially turned inside-out.) he still knows a zombie when he sees one. And that's one RIGHT THERE, at the condiment table, like a normal people! He's openly staring over his americano, not really able parse the scene at first.

Until she can't any more and bursts out laughing, waving at the seemingly interested party.

Knuckles was grabbing coffee and a banana for breakfast.
Knuckles wrinkled his little black nose and snorted. "Ugh. What died in here?" he asked, obviously not having noticed Rotty in the room with him, and obviously having missed the 'Undead and You!' sensitivity webinar available on the School's website to help promote unity with the school's students and faculty who were members of the Formerly Alive Community.

Sheesh, people in this place were r.u.d.e!
Turning face, she huffed before grinning to herself and taking a sip of her coffee. "Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed, and I reaaaally don't smell." Jerk.
no subject
Blink. Blink.
"...uh. Hi." he said, looking the girl over, entirely unsure what to make of her. She was green. His sensitive nose had picked up on the fact that she wasn't alive - don't feel bad, Rotty, he's sensitive to smells - and it looked like bits of her had been stitched on.
Even in this kind of a place, she sure stood out.
"....'Sup."
no subject
"Meanie. Hmph!" she huffed again and grabbed her coffee.
"You 'sup'."
no subject
He grabbed that banana and started to peel it.
He almost wanted to tell her that, NO, it was DEFINITELY her, but he thought that might not get him anywhere and was also kind of mean. He wanted to prove her 'meanie' comment wrong, after all.
"You new?"
no subject
"Are you always a jerk?" she retorted still a bit annoyed and pouty.

Geeze. Third degree from a cute cadaver this early in the day? Nuh-uh.
